I grew up in the western suburbs and moved to Chicago while attending Loyola University for my undergraduate studies. My law degree was earned at DePaul University College of Law where I was also a member of the school's Moot Court Society. Upon graduation and passing the Illinois bar, both in 1998, I began work in commercial litigation at a downtown Chicago firm. Soon thereafter I was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2000 and then California's in 2002. From there I moved on to a boutique real estate firm focusing on real estate transactions and related litigation. In 2004 I ventured out on my own, establishing my first law firm.

​My practice has thrived and grown out of a philosophy focused on individualized attention and planning to accomplish clients’ goals. Every matter, every client, is unique.
​
Whatever the representation involves, whether the purchase of a first home, the acquisition of a sprawling industrial complex for a client’s business operations, a comprehensive estate plan, litigation or probate administration after the loss of a loved one, it is likely the most trying and all encompassing matter in a client's life at that time. They will wake, sleep, and eat with it always on their mind. Besides the obvious need to have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectuate client goals, I strive, and promise to, fulfill the simple need of availability. I am available and will always be. My clients always have access to me, not just staff, or a text, but to me.
